ParticipantInteresting that 3 out of the top 11 are from this year’s draft. Also that Helsley was rated so high.
Will be glad when he’s back. Hudson should probably be in the Top 10. Gingery is rated way too low IMHO.July 23, 2018 at 9:56 am #61611Luken Baker and Nolan Gorman have done well so far.I expect Baker to do well since he is playing mostly against younger players.Same with Kevin Woodall.Gorman is playing well at 18.Baker just keeps hitting and hitting and hitting……I am wondering if this could be another fast track thru the system like DeJong.i know it is still early but Bake sure doesn`t seem to be overwhelmed by the pitching he has seen so far.The true test will still be coming as he advances. But it is nice to see Cards early picks hit the ground running. Some of them are .

ParticipantBaker has already reached low-A as a 21 y.o.. I can see him moving up to adv-A before the season ends. Its too early to put a crown on any of the ’18 draftees, but sometimes one of them will produce and progress faster than anyone thought possible.

ParticipantAlso interesting to review their numbers (especially college players) and read up on the pre-draft scouting reports.
