Two crazy games last night. The Reds get seven runs in the 9th to beat Cleveland 7-4. And the Astros win on a walk-off 8-foot smash by Bregman in extra innings. You sort of had to see it to believe it.

Lets hope young Mr. Weaver can take up where he left off in San Francisco last week. And I hope Dexter Addams is in the lineup again tonight too.

Rats…. you have masochist tendencies. Trade Fowler now…he is at his highest value today.

Why would anyone wish Fowler in the lineup vs a lefty? That meatball he hit last night off of one isn’t some sign from the baseball gods. Please Matheny don’t fold to the pressure.

Bader must still be banged up, or Matheny really has faith that Dexter is back.

Bader better be banged up or else MM is being fool starting Fowler against a lefty. Makes zero sense at all. Of course now that I complained Fowler will have a good night. But the way Bader has been playing he is light years better defender and right now better hitter to

Honoring the guys who lit it up last night by playing them tonight. Good leadership.

Not smart move when said players are terrible against lefties.

Not much offense tonight. Weaver has been good, but Rodon has been good and luckier. 1-0 White Sox in the 6th.

Leadoff Triple buy Moncada. Dex too slow to get to it.

Cards had bases loaded with one out in the 8th, trailing 3-0. Both Pham and Martinez strike out. Both swung like maniacs instead of just trying to make contact. It was Pham’s fourth strikeout tonight. Before long he is going to be down in the .220s.

This one is just about history.

I have not heard any news due to being at work. Bader was unavailable correct?

Just throw Fowler high heat. He’ll whiff more often than not.

So glad Fowler got the start tonight so he could go 0- for the evening. Such a smart move.

    Great star my Luke wasted

Was he available to play? I would like someone to confirm this because the rumor is he’s injured. I mean if he that hurt then maybe they should DL him.

It is not a rumor. Bader had a hamstring injury when hit by a pitch on Sunday. I do not have an update on his current condition.

What follows is my opinion. One would think that the Cardinals would not want to play short-handed for days, so that must mean they believe the injury is not significant enough to justify a DL move at this time.

Not a good game at all after the nice game on Tuesday. This team just cannot get any momentum at all, and the wild card is beginning to slip further away as the Dodgers surge.

The horrid home record of barely above .500 is the big culprit so far. They’ve got 36 home games left and I don’t care who it is they’re playing but they need to go at minimum 24-12 in those games to have any shot at the playoffs.

What you are saying is that they have no chance at the post-season.
