Full-season PEO will be a challenge for Casadilla but some solid pitching there. Oviedo was due to start, what’s up with that?
Not sure what you mean, Ny. Seijas started Monday, Casadilla is taking Guillory’s spot today with Oviedo’s turn tomorrow. Oviedo last pitched on the 22nd, so Wednesday the 27th is his fifth day.

Tomorrow? Voit. Bullpen would already be rested and we have an off day on Thursday so no pitcher needed. I dont like Voit long term but he has shown he can PH.
Voit has just one HR through the first three months and is slugging just .336 for Memphis. That is 13th on the team – worse than middle infielders Urias (who was demoted), Tovar and Schrock. If Voit doesn’t slug, his 40-man roster spot could be in serious jeopardy.
I’d bring up O’Neill. He is the future.
If it was more than one game, I’d go with O’Neill too. Since most likely the player would get a one at bat PH. For that one at bat in STL tomorrow who would you rather have at the plate? I’d prefer Voit.
Last year outfielder Leandro Cedeno hit 4 home runs in 9 games at the GCL before an injury benched him for the season.
This year he has also hit 4 home runs at Johnson City but in only 7 games. His 4th year in the system. Has to move if he is going to get anywhere before he has to be protected. 19 years of age.
I think Wong’s time has truly come and unfortunately warrants departure. Schrock deserves a chance. We know he can field….that can be determined whether he’s playing in St. Lucie or St. Louis. Hitting is the big question mark. Let’s see how he can hit in the bigs. He certainly can’t do any worse than Wong. We very well may be pleasantly surprised.
