Due to the impending weather that’s set to arrive later in the week, the Florida State League has announced game two and game three of the Southern Division Playoffs between the Palm Beach Cardinals and Ft. Myers Miracle will be played as a double-header on Wednesday at Roger Dean Stadium.
Thomas Spitz’ three hits and two RBI and Jake Woodford’s six one-run innings lifted Palm Beach to victory in their post-season opener. State College had a walk-off win as their season nears its end.
