    1. Who will close out games in 2026? Is it a “closer by committee” type of deal?
    2. Is Burleson ideal hitting third? Limited power and limited speed…is it fair for me to question his viability?
    3. Only three outfielders with 7 infielders…will this be a defining moment in baseball history or another way for the nation to laugh at St. Louis?
    4. All Star season for Libby?
    5. Is JJ a budding/future star or the next Rasmus/Carlson/Gorman/Walker?
    6. Over/Under 75 wins for this group?
    7. Does Gorman breakout and hit 30 or more HR? If not, who leads our team in HR and with how many?

So many questions…it will be both fun and possibly infuriating as we watch it all unfold.

It’s a rebuilding year. Most of the fan base can’t sit through one.

The OP likely fimd most of those answers himself.

    1. Probably a committee but I expect O’Brien and Jo Jo to close out the most games.
    2. I don’t know about ideal but he is probably as good as we have. Oli’s number one prioroty seems to be that the lineup is staggered LH/RH.
    3. The Cardinals are hoping that Saggese and Fermin can handle OF duty.
    4. I doubt if Libby is an all star but he can be a solid number 3 type starter.
    5. I think JJ’s floor will be equal to Donovan eventually. Who knows what is ceiling can be?
    6. I will take the under at 72.
    7. I am not expecting a breakout from Gorman. Most likely he will be a platoon player. I will say most HR’s will be Herrera at 25 as along as they don’t ruin him by making him catch too much.
