December 12, 2025 at 6:10 am #297366My annual annual report on #stlcards Winter Warm-Up autograph prices year-to-year, as well as who is attending and who is not. Half of the 40-man roster is not on the initial attendee list. https://t.co/fmfd2aw6iX pic.twitter.com/45ha9IXxrY

December 12, 2025 at 6:38 am #297368They charge fans for autographs at their winter barnstorming events?
December 12, 2025 at 7:10 am #297370The greed knows no bounds!
December 12, 2025 at 11:22 am #297381ZTR asked:
They charge fans for autographs at their winter barnstorming events?
I want to be clear with my response because there are two different events that are occurring at the same time.
The Cardinals Caravans travel to different towns in a multistate area. Typically, admission is free and all kids get an autograph from each of the current and former players there. Adults get two free 2026 game tickets. So this is a pretty good deal.
Also, in St. Louis is Winter Warm-Up. This has an admission fee and a separate fee for autographs. The selection of signees is much greater than on the Caravans, which mostly have the younger players. And there is a lot more going on during the two days of WWU.
As I outlined in the article, all proceeds go to charity. Hope that clarifies.
December 12, 2025 at 11:56 am #297384At $30 a pop, I bet you’ll be able to hear a pin drop over at the Scott Spiezio table. On the other hand, they may need a couple security guards over at JJW’s table to ward off eager fans trying to do cutzies to gain better positions in line.
As kids, did anyone else here send baseball cards off to players in the mail, seeking to have players autograph their own card and then have them mailed back to you? I had much better luck with basketball teams vs baseball in this regard. The Atlanta Hawks were great at getting players to do this for you. I remember having 3 “Sweet Lou” Hudson and 2 “Pistol Pete” Maravich autographed cards. My Milwaukee Bucks were terrible though. I sent 3 different Lew Alcindor cards off to get autographed and not only did they not get them signed for me, but they never even mailed back my cards. I even had to get larger envelopes for them because his cards were unusually large in length. If one attempted this practice these days I wonder what the response would be?
December 12, 2025 at 12:39 pm #297386How about $75 for So Taguchi? That is as much as Winn. He must be like a fine wine… 😉
December 12, 2025 at 12:49 pm #297387Wow I missed that one, Brian. That $75 is “So” much more than I’d pony up for his autograph. Gorman at $50 and especially Nooty at $75 are way overpriced too. But JJ Wetherholt at 30 clams is an absolute steal…..well let’s hope it turns out to be the steal of the century.
December 12, 2025 at 12:57 pm #297389You didn’t read it right. Gorman and Noot are not coming.
December 12, 2025 at 2:30 pm #297394Oh….thanks, that just saved me $125 big ones.
December 12, 2025 at 2:53 pm #297395Hopefully someone asks ownership a little about their finances, mainly the local TV deal…. they dropped from $75 million to $58 million with the restructuring of Bally/Diamond in 2024, but the Cardinals also own 30% equity share in Fan Duel Sports Midwest….seems like that 30% equity is not calculated in when they discuss the impact the new TV deal had on them and then also the dramatic cut in their payroll from 2024 to 2025 and then in to 2026.
December 12, 2025 at 4:42 pm #297401My view is that if you have to pay for an autograph, it doesn’t count.
January 7, 2026 at 10:26 am #298821January 9, 2026 at 10:20 am #298910An update on #STLCards Winter Warm-Up including the free autograph tickets available starting at noon today and the return of "Soup". https://t.co/fmfd2aw6iX pic.twitter.com/hxwP9IwNGA

January 16, 2026 at 5:16 pm #299351Anyone on here going to be at the Joplin caravan event tomorrow? I’ve decided to make the 3 plus hour drive and attend for the first time. Going to make for a long day.
January 17, 2026 at 9:26 am #299372Interview summaries and audio to be loaded here through the day. Our first interview is about 20 minutes away. Then, they come fast and furious.
Cardinals Winter Warm-Up – In Their Words: Saturday, 1/17/26
January 17, 2026 at 3:34 pm #299415A bunch of photos and audio are loaded with more to come.
January 17, 2026 at 3:54 pm #299419I saw some of it online – specifically the Liberatore and Walker interviews. I mean, yeah it was interesting to a point but there weren’t any hard or tough questions asked. Maybe that’s the goal to just create a fun, fan centric experience without any edge to it?
January 17, 2026 at 4:31 pm #299423What would be some examples of tough questions to ask Liberatore, for example? He talked about his struggles mid-season and what he did to address it. Not sure what was unasked/unanswered.
January 17, 2026 at 5:36 pm #299426I listened to all but Olo’s. Spring definitely springs eternal.
January 17, 2026 at 8:00 pm #29942713 players, the manager and POBO spoke at #STLCards Winter Warm-Up on Saturday. Photos, summary of remarks and full audio interviews of all posted for free access at The Cardinal Nation. https://t.co/T3mS9VK5bi pic.twitter.com/JocfB7jU29

January 17, 2026 at 8:20 pm #299428Many thanks for the recordings and write ups. I’ll have to dig through them soon. When I saw the picture of Blaze Jordan I thought he must have been a 40 year old office worker in the Cards FO. Maybe it is just the picture that makes him look much older. Doyle is the opposite and looks very young. Looking at him, you wouldn’t think he has a very intimidating bull dog presence on the mound like he does. Maybe he should grow a beard. I’m sure 1TD would like the thought maybe Doyle with a Rollie Fingers like handle bar mustache.
January 17, 2026 at 8:21 pm #299429Great coverage Brian. Appreciate the summaries. Kept trying to listen but kept getting interrupted. I especially want to listen to Chaim.
January 18, 2026 at 8:47 am #299451Placeholder for Sunday’s content. No substance yet, but it will be added to during the day.
January 18, 2026 at 2:44 pm #299469I had some time to listen to a few of the interviews and will have to listen to more later. I actually started with Herrera’s as interested in hearing how his offseason has been going. Maybe the most interesting comment to me so far did come from Herrera’s and it was actually about Bloom seeming to care more about the players than Mo did. Bloom most likely is a better leader and knows that it isn’t just numbers but also real people.
