11:10 pm is an awful late starting time for a travel day. 😂

    Assuming you meant a.m.

And I believe Liberatore is a LHP.

Taking a gander at the Saturday night out-of-town scoreboard:

The Cubs lead the Angels 12-1 in the 9th at Anaheim.

The Brewers lost 7-1 to the Giants at County Stadium in Milwaukee.

The Padres down the Doyers 5-1 at Jack Murphy Stadium in San Diego.

Liberatore and McGreevy are pretty much locked into the 2026 starting rotation. Gray likely as well for $35M smacksroos.

Would love to see Liberatore finish the season on a heater.

    FYI here,
We are in a rain delay down in Tampa. Looks like there are some squalls just off shore out in the gulf that could also come into play. Not sure how long this delay will last.

Din din today will be a ribeye steak in the air fryer, some applesauce, an ice cold slushy Mt. Dew, and a chocolate shake.

    FYI here,
The Giants and Brewers are also in a delay at Milwaukee. Not sure how. This one requires further investigating. Maybe our resident expert from the Milwaukee area – aka Pugs – can chime in here.

I’m not in attendance at today’s Brewers-Giants game, but I would think the delay was because of it being Bob Uecker Day, Rat. Another sterling greater Miami weather report, Rat…..but I did miss the meteorological happenings in the S.W. Indiana region.

This delay has now extended to a little more than 3 hours. I’m a little surprised they haven’t pulled the plug on it and called it a scratch. It also seemed more than a little odd to have not had a baseball game played on a Saturday in August. I was led to believe the reason was a concern about traffic conditions which I thought sounded pretty stupid. If these people don’t know how to drive, don’t issue them a driver’s license and keep them off the road.

I’ve been there many times. A big issue is parking as they share the same lots. I would imagine a lot of the concession, security and other park workers are the same. I think blaming it on traffic only is an oversimplification. But, yes, there are a lot of Florida drivers who shouldn’t be behind the wheel!

And the Rays are up 7-0.

The Pirates come to Busch for a four game set starting tomorrow night. Good thing it’s not somebody else.

The Giants got two in the 9th and beat Milwaukee 4-3.

The Cubs lead 4-3 in the 6th at Anaheim.

The Doyers lead the Padres 7-2 in the 7th at Qualcomm Stadium.

He went 5 innings today Bling. Rays tv which I get show a marked downturn in his last 7 games. Coupled with Mikolas outing the other night I”m wondering if these guys got end of the season funk? Looking like none of our catchers can throw out a 2nd base steal. We caught one thoughvtonight. Walked rbi Burly for 1 run so far.

Didn’t see a solitary pitch but the box reads, wearisome, repetitive, mundane and stale. Did I mention dull? At any rate, anyone afflicted with a sleep disorder should buy a ticket.
