Could be another rough night for this offense. Arizona is running out another good, young starter tonight.

Yes, could be rough. Anyone know Wacha’s home/away record? I believe he does a little better away if memory serves. For offense, we just need to get on base in front of DeJong.
Ray struck in the side of the head by a Voit line drive at 108 mph. Left sitting up on a cart. Game now in the hands of the Arizona bullpen.
Oh puts up a zero. Always makes it interesting, but kept the ball down. Deserves credit for getting them through the 7th.
Watching Oh pitch the 7th was tortuous, especially against the lefty Herrmann. It helped that he got the one strike call that was a half foot outside. Hopefully the Cards can score in the 7th to take some pressure off the pen. Cards lead 1-0.
It’s obvious Cecil is just dangling candy over the plate for their hitters. Two on no out. You gotta yank him NOW.
Cecil just needs to be sat. He had about 1 week where he was good and outside of that, pure garbage.
I agree ColHusker. He just throws BP from what I can see. Pretty much all season long except for one little stretch. I thought it was funny that Dan and Rick said he was breaking stuff all, and unhittable in spring training. Then what happens – BOOM!
And now Rosenthal is in the game. Good thing the Cubs already lost 2-1 to Milwaukee. This one is history, folks.

See, told you Rosenthal would get them.
He was, however, bailed out on the 2-1 pitch by the umpire. Inside, off the plate, that Greg Gibson called a strike on Goldschmidt and that got Goldie all out of whack.
Rosenthal with a 2-inning save. That was impressive, and just when the pen really needed him to take over. Nobody else was going to salvage the 8th like he did.
Ray needed a few stitches, then returned to the park, showered and is back resting at the hotel.
