Cardinals fads from the past

Not sure why I was thinking about this, but several passing Cardinals-related fads in recent years came to mind.

Per one definition, a fad is an activity or topic of interest that is very popular for a short time, but which people become bored with very quickly.

Here are a few, but feel free to share yours.

1) Matt Carpenter’s salsa.

2) The rally squirrel.

3) Grandma June giving Luke Voit $25 for each home run.

4) Lars Nootbaar’s friendship with every Japanese free agent.

5) Various dugout celebrations – pepper grinder, burger phone, etc…
