17.5 games out ….. embarrassing! Worst part is not really seeing a different result for next year unless we do some trading for impact pitching so we could be in contention NOW. Quit trying to tell us about the theory that we are working on the future. The future would be 2-3 years away at best with prospects you think we have. We all know we do not really have a good track record with recognizing or developing pitching talent. SO ……….. I know I will probably get booed here by some of the forever optimistic fans, but in your heart of hearts you all know I’m right. We must fire Mozaliek in order to move up and out of this hole he has managed to put us in. Should really fire Ollie too as not sure he knows how to manage effectively even if he did have the talent, and for sure, fire Blake and hire a pitching coach who actually played in the majors. And lastly, spend some money DeWitt’s, as lord knows the fans have given you plenty of it despite the product you have been putting on the field for at least the last 10 years.( just getting to the playoffs and not being able to contend doesn’t count contrary to what the administration feeds us). This year sure showed how vitally important Yadi was to making a silk purse out of a sows ear with this team. Apparently he had no interest in staying on or what more than likely was the reason was they wouldn’t give him control or $$$.
