The St. Louis Cardinals system went 4-0 on Sunday. The Cardinal Nation’s Player of the Day, Brycen Mautz, pitched six no-hit innings with six strikeouts in Palm Beach’s win. Other standouts include Michael McGreevy, Chandler Redmond, Mike Antico and Nathan Church.

The Memphis Redbirds (52-50) blanked the Iowa Cubs (CHC, 59-41) at AutoZone Park on Sunday.
Michael McGreevy tossed seven scoreless innings and yielded three hits with four walks. TCN’s no. 4 prospect fanned six and earned his seventh win of the year.
In the first inning, Luken Baker doubled to score Tommy Edman. José Fermín added an insurance run in the seventh with a solo home run, his second of the season.
Out of the bullpen, Jacob Barnes earned his second save after he struck out four in two scoreless frames.
Fermín went 2-for-2 with a walk, one double and a home run. Edman, Baker and Nick Dunn all recorded one hit. The Redbirds collected five hits and six walks.
In Game 2 of his rehab assignment, Edman went 1-for-3 with a run scored.
On the bases, Iván Herrera was caught stealing. McGreevy picked a runner off.
The Redbirds are 4.5 games out of first in the International League West after a 3-3 week against the Cubs.

The Springfield Cardinals (14-13) edged the Tulsa Drillers (LAD, 9-18) on Sunday afternoon at ONEOK Field.
Starter Logan Gragg threw six innings and surrendered five runs on six hits and a walk. The right-hander yielded four home runs, struck out three and received his third Double-A win. In relief, Ryan Shreve pitched a scoreless inning.
Chandler Redmond recorded an RBI groundout in the first inning but the Drillers made it 3-1 in the third. In the fourth, Jose Alvarez and Victor Scott II walked with the bases loaded to tie the game.
Andre Granillo surrendered two runs in the eighth inning on two hits, one walk and two punchouts. Roy Garcia fanned one in a scoreless inning to earn his first Springfield save.
After Tulsa took the lead back in the sixth, the Cards scored four in the seventh. Jacob Buchberger walked with the bases full and Aaron Antonini doubled to clear the bases and make the score 7-5. Redmond drove in one with a single in the eighth inning.
The Cardinals recorded seven hits and 15 walks in the game. Redmond went 1-for-2 with three walks, two RBI and a run scored. Antonini walked twice and plated three runs. Arquímedes Gamboa and Scott walked three times apiece.
Antonini, Redmond and Buchberger all took one base and Mike Antico stole three. Scott was caught stealing.
Springfield went 4-2 against the Drillers this week and sit in third place in the Texas League North.

Peoria 5, South Bend 4 (10 innings)
The Peoria Chiefs (15-15) walked off the South Bend Cubs (CHC, 13-17) in an extra-inning contest at Dozer Park.
Ian Bedell only pitched 2 1/3 innings with two runs, one earned, given up on four hits, two walks and four strikeouts. Joseph King fanned three in 3 2/3 scoreless frames.
After the Cubs scored one in the first, Jimmy Crooks doubled in the bottom half to score one. Francisco Hernandez blasted a two-run homer in the second, his third of 2023. South Bend made it 3-2 in the third inning.
Gustavo Rodriguez tossed a scoreless inning. Edwin Nunez surrendered two runs in two innings with two strikeouts. In the 10th, Jack Ralston earned his first High-A win after a scoreless frame.
In the seventh, Jeremy Rivas came across on a wild pitch but the Cubs tied it in the ninth. With the bases loaded in the 10th, Osvaldo Tovalin’s single won the game.
Nathan Church went 2-for-3 with two walks. Crooks was 2-for-3 with a walk and an RBI double. Chris Rotondo doubled. The lineup went 1-for-9 with runners in scoring position.
On the base paths, Rotondo stole his first High-A bag. In the field, Hernandez committed a throwing error. Alex Iadisernia and Church both threw runners out at home. Church also robbed a home run in left field.

The Chiefs ended their nine-game losing skid with a 2-4 week versus South Bend. They are tied for third place in the Midwest League West.

The Palm Beach Cardinals (12-16) topped the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels (MIN, 12-18) at Hammond Stadium on Sunday.
Brycen Mautz recorded a no-hitter over six innings with three walks. TCN’s no. 11 prospect struck out six and earned his fourth win.
In the fifth inning, Tre Richardson scored on a balk and Dakota Harris singled to plate Chase Davis. The Beach Birds put up three runs in the seventh. Joshua Baez scored on an error. Won-Bin Cho recorded a sacrifice fly and Harris brought Richardson in via a groundout.
Out of the bullpen, Henry Gomez gave up a solo home run in the seventh inning with three punchouts. Angel Cuenca was charged with a solo home run in two innings on three hits.
Harris, Richardson and Kade Kretzschmar recorded two hits. Kretzschmar and Davis doubled. Baez and Trey Paige each walked twice and scored once.
On the bases, Richardson was picked off and caught stealing.
In the Florida State League East, the Cardinals moved up to second place after a 5-1 week in Fort Myers.

The Florida Complex League Cardinals (13-22) are 8.5 games out of first in the FCL East.

DSL Cardinals – DSL AL All-Stars 4 at NL All-Stars 3
On Sunday, the Dominican Summer League All-Star Game was held with the host National League losing a one-run decision to the American League. Two Cardinals were invited.
19-year-old lefty Yadiel Batista pitched the second inning, a 1-2-3 frame that included two strikeouts.
Two-time All-Star, 18-year-old outfielder Yordalin Pena, finished the game at designated hitter and singled in two at-bats, but did not figure in the scoring.
In the DSL South, the Dominican Summer League Cardinals (11-28) are 19 games back of first place.
