They should pay O’Neill exactly what he asked for. I don’t get why they are going to a hearing with him. Not a smart move.

They should pay both O’Neil and bader. While I’m not huge on O’Neil because of his lack of effort defensively sometimes, his offense last year was really good. What they offered O’Neil seems really low as well. Bader is a little more iffy. He might should have taken the 4.2. But I have zero issue with players betting on themselves. Flaherty is coming off of a injury season and is still injured so I understand him taking the money and running.

As a quick aside, when you click on this link and see the pic of Bader atop his writeup, that’s not a pic of our Harrison Bader. The guy more resembles a budding insurance salesman……nothing wrong with that profession…..just saying that the incorrect pic was inserted.

The settled individual player Arbs listed by Brains “reader” match those listed at Cot’s.

Cot’s is using the midpoint on O’Neill and Bader arbs, and totals the team payroll currently at 151mil.

No idea how 144mil balloons to 164mil when the Arb amounts are already included in the 151mil.

Is it possible they are trying to work out an extension with TON? I haven’t seen it mentioned anywhere but if they could buyout a FA year or two with options I wouldn’t hate it…..
