I’ll miss most of this game because I will be at the Jasper football home opener tonight. The Wildcats of Jasper High School play host to the Panthers of Evansville Reitz High School. Weather appears to be almost perfect. I’ll be checking the score from time to time of the Cards/Brewers game.

We have a very difficult seven game stretch with the Brewers and then the Dodgers at home. If we are going to make any kind of run it better start – AND RIGHT NOW! Arenado…..Are you listening???

Yea Wooster it’s all good, oneil added one as well. Everyone except edman has a hit and he’s got a rbi so hitting is great and pitching so far just as great.

Well would have been nice for waino to get through 7 just some bad luck. Ball just over edmans glove and a hard chance for Sosa. His pitch count is getting up there so best to get him out of there.

Bad play by edman, just needed to make sure of one there. That’s why defense matters more than people think. One bad play can lead to a landslide.

Edman might need to move back a couple steps. Not the first time I’ve seen a liner just get past him.

Sosa doing good again, I don’t think Dejong is going to get his starting spot back any time soon.

Overall a great game. Waino/yadi 300th game. I saw where the record is 324, might get it if waino plays another year. The article I read about it even said waino should be in the baseball hall of fame. I’m not sure about that but I guess you can talk about it. If you are grading on consistentcy then maybe but I don’t know.

Yeah, but it’s two teams whose records aren’t much better than the Cards’ record, so they should be easy to catch. 😉

Cards, Pads and Reds are all even in the loss column. Phils are just one loss behind them, so it’s a 4-team race. Mets have just 2 more losses than the Phils, so they still have a pulse too.

What there eurodaddy, we are only about a game and a half out of wild card but those teams are only .two wins better than us. Who knew? Sorry I couldn’t resist

Nice to get an easy win last night. I want Waino to get a ton of these the next year and a month, make his case for the HoF at least an outside chance.
