The 2018 The Single-A short-season affiliate State College Spikes went out on a high note in their final week of the season. The club finished the week of play with a 2-1 record, tying for third in the New York-Penn League Pinckney Division standings with an overall record of 36-40. Lars Nootbaar kept his hot bat going while Stanley Espinal was named the team’s Most Valuable Player.
