Selected in the second round of the 2013 First-Year Player Draft. Signing announced June 17, 2013 for a reported bonus of $1.5 million. Traded to the Cleveland Indians for minor league outfielders Conner Capel and Jhon Torres on July 31, 2018. Re-signed with St. Louis on a minor league contract on November 18, 2022. Added to 40-man roster, May 17, 2023. Outrighted July 3, 2023. Declared free agency on July 5, 2023.
