The St. Louis Cardinals High-A affiliate struggled this week as they failed to pick up a win. Peoria dropped all six games to Cedar Rapids and the opener to Wisconsin. Starting pitcher Michael YaSenka was a bright spot, winning League Pitcher of the Week honors. The right hander tossed six shutout innings only yielding three hits while punching out eight in Thursday’s game.
