Memphis began its game but was unable to complete it due to rain, and Palm Beach and Peoria will play doubleheaders on Wednesday after their Tuesday games were rained out.
Four players who had been inactive with St. Louis Cardinals Class-A affiliates Peoria and Palm Beach were activated by their respective clubs on Tuesday. High-A Peoria welcomes two pitchers back into action while Low-A Palm Beach receives a pair of outfielders.

The Florida Complex League Cardinals dropped their season opener in the only action on Monday. Player of the Day Luis Montano tripled and scored the team’s only run.
The St. Louis Cardinals have added Roel Ramirez and Brandon Waddell to their 26-man roster, with Ramirez also being added to the 40-man roster. Seth Elledge and Jake Woodford have been returned to Memphis, while John Nogowski has been designated for assignment.

Minor League Baseball announced on Monday that two Cardinals prospects are their respective league Players of the Week for the period of June 7-13 – Springfield’s Nolan Gorman and Palm Beach’s Masyn Winn.
St. Louis’ minors translated walks into wins on the 3-1 Sunday with free passes key in both Memphis’ and Palm Beach’s victories. Springfield won behind starter Dalton Roach’s strong effort and Player of the Day Masyn Winn’s big slam and seven RBI led Palm Beach. Peoria took one in the loss column.
