Palm Beach Cardinals Notebook: 2018 Week 9

Insider news from the St. Louis Cardinals’ Florida State League affiliate in Palm Beach for the period of May 30th through June 5th. The Beach Birds won six of seven and pulled to within a half-game of the first-half division lead. FSL All-Star second baseman Andy Young batted .391 and scored 11 runs last week.

Cardinals Minor League Notebook – June 6, 2018

A night of big offensive efforts in St. Louis’ minors led to a 4-2 mark on Tuesday. Edmundo Sosa, Blake Drake and Lane Thomas all had hot nights at the plate for Springfield as did Peoria’s Zach Kirtley. Springfield was joined in the win column by Palm Beach, Peoria and the DSL Cardinals Blue but Memphis and the DSL Cardinals Red fell.
