The Johnson City Cardinals had a rough week, going 1-6, including a four-game series sweep at the hands of the Elizabethton Twins, bringing the team's record to 9-14 on the year, and fourth place in the Appalachian League West. Dariel Gomez is leading the offense while reliever Parker Kelly is a bright spot among the struggling pitching staff.

State College Spikes Notebook – 2018 Week 4

The Single-A short-season affiliate State College Spikes finished the fourth week of play with a 3-3 record. Overall, they are last in the New York-Penn League Pinckney Division with a record of 11-16. Shortstop Delvin Perez continues to pace the Spikes at the plate and in the field.

Cardinals Minor League Notebook – July 12, 2018

The St. Louis Cardinals system was 3-7 on Wednesday. DSL Cardinals Blue and Red both split doubleheaders. Memphis was off due to the Triple-A All Star Game. Our Player of the Day is DSL Red outfielder Adanson Cruz, who went 5-for-6, including three doubles and a home run, plus a walk, a stolen base and five RBI.
