Nice come from behind victories by Palm Beach, Peoria, and Memphis. Springfield’s game was called in the top of the 7th.

Calileo isn’t close to being as highly rated as Jaden Hill is. Monetary amount for Vargas hasn’t been disclosed. I would imagine if it was over the max amount of $125,000 it would have been announced. Gingery is still unsigned and yes his slot value is $446,900. He is also coming off Tommy John surgery.
Cards have $446,300 remaining of their pool allotment. If they choose to go over that amount up to 5% they have $844,720.
Jaden Hill is the only guy that I believe won’t sign. If Gingery, Gonzalez and Nootbaar sign for slot the Cards would have went $13,700 over the limit. They would still have some wiggle room before maxing out the 5% overage.
The fact this offense can’t do anything against a pitcher with an ERA over 6 is just pitiful. I’m turning this shitshow off and watching Memphis.

I really don’t know what the Cardinals can do with Greg Holland. He gets a mysterious injury that just pops up out of nowhere and goes on a rehab assignment almost immediately where he can’t even get guys out. He just gave up 3 runs in the top the 9th blowing Memphis’ lead and blowing a save. Could it be time to cut his dead weight? I don’t know…
Is there gonna be a new thread for draft signings, or do we just post the news here? Anyway, I’ve created a spreadsheet if anyone is interested. I think a few guys here already know about it.
Nick Dunn, Matthew Duce and Griffin Roberts have signed. I’ve only seen numbers for Roberts and its for the full amount.

CMart was squeezed several times which allowed to extra pitches being made which in turn allowed the Reds more chances to make something happened. With that said, Martinez hasn’t been exactly great since coming off the DL and could have used more than one rehab start after missing an entire month. I commented this to Derek on twitter after his rehab start when he gave up 2 homeruns. I don’t understand management throwing these guys back out on the field without making sure they’re ready.

Except for Palm Beach, whose game was suspended until next Monday, the system had a clean sweep today! Pretty awesome!
JMart is now -0.1 rWAR and 0.6 fWAR. It’s June 7. Time to trade him or use him off the bench. Has anyone else abandoned JMart is our 1B ship?
