4 of our 9 batters are hitting low .200s or worse. 3 of our 6 pitchers have ERA of 4+. Trotting that out there it should not be surprising we are already 3 games out of a wild card slot.

PDJ is 0 for 8 with 4 Ks so far in AAA.

Since becoming the SS, Donovan won’t cool off. Another BB, single and double.

I’m all for Sosa getting a chance but hope Ollie doesn’t sit Donovan while he’s hot. Maybe sit O’Neill who is hitting .193 and just went 0-4, give Edman a turn in the OF so Donovan and Sosa could man middle infield. See how that looks for a few games. We are already losing, so nothing more to lose. We need a different look or we will keep getting the same results.

Why out donovan at second. He’s a better outfielder than edman. Put him in left field, keep our gold glove second baseman where he is.

There are a couple of positive comments here… but they are about the grub guys are cooking up.

We are actually only 1/2 game out of a wild card spot.

Spot on, Nyquist. Besides Helsley, Pez, Tommy E., Arenado and hopefully, Donovan, the only things to marvel at on our game threads this year have been the beautifully prepared and devoured wide array of din-dins. It’s been second rate baseball, but first rate chow. Let us pray that our boys’ play starts catching with our din-dins in both quality and eloquence.
