Thursday was Walk-Off Day in St. Louis’ minors, with four of eight contests decided in the last at bat. Springfield, Palm Beach and the GCL club came out on top in their decisions but Johnson City did not, the only loss in the system’s eight games. Starter Ian Oxnevad spun a beauty for Peoria in their shutout victory while Brandon Benson’s grand slam and a record-tying six RBI helped State College coast to a win.
