The emergence of Brad Miller as the St. Louis Cardinals’ power-hitting designated hitter has indirectly limited the team’s ability to sort out its crowded and underachieving outfield. One obvious, but potentially difficult solution is to sit either veteran Matt Carpenter or rookie Dylan Carlson.
