Welcome to the new home of The Cardinal Nation, open for business as we return to independent operation. While the look of the site has changed, the same articles and authors focusing on the St. Louis Cardinals and their minor league system continue as always.
For TCN members
For those who are paid members of The Cardinal Nation, you will be receiving an email with instructions on how to access premium content here on the new site as well. If you are a current TCN paid customer, but have not received this instruction email by the end of Saturday, July 1, please contact us here so we help secure your access. (Don’t forget to check your spam filter first.)
For everyone, once you learn the new menu system, you should be able to easily locate anything you need.
Across the top menu, you can familiarize yourself with our talented staff of writers, access our contact form, subscribe (if you haven’t already), review all of our most recent news in tabular form, head to our Open and Members message boards, as well as access your account details.
Anyone can read free content and browse the Open Forum. However, non-subscribers (including those with free ids on the Scout system) will need to sign up for a new free id here to post comments on the Forum. (If you already had an id on the old TCN Blog, that sign-on will work here.)
Paid members have pre-set userids with your account details loaded. Please check the aforementioned email for instructions on how to set your password. This information is also located under the “ABOUT” tab in the top menu bar.
On the left side of the page, you can find links to a wealth of information, starting with our popular Cardinals Roster Matrix, where all players in the system are listed by position and level along with every player transaction documented all year long. Following are team rosters and individual pages for all 281 players currently in the Cardinals system.
Other left menu bar links include access to 12 years of Cardinals top prospect rankings, draft recaps, season recaps and players of the year by level by year, top stories of the year and a number of historical documents as well.
Please take the time to look around and become acquainted with our new home. As in any transition of this kind, there may a few bumps here and there, but we will do our best to keep them to a minimum.
Our promise to you remains the same – to provide the most comprehensive first-hand information about the Cardinals system available anywhere.

Customer service update – July 4
After several days, many of you have successfully logged on and a number have already posted on the forums, where there is a special topic discussing the new site.
Based on questions to date, a minority have experienced problems with the password reset/log on process. The issues seem to be focused in a few key areas.
- I did not receive my password reset email after requesting it. Check your spam filters to see if the note is caught there. If you are still stuck, then contact me ASAP.
- Even though the password is reset, I still cannot log in. You may need to clear the cookies on your browser as old information was blocking some users’ log on attempts. The cookie clearing procedure is different depending on which browser you are using, but either do a Google search or contact me and I will aim you in the right direction to get the steps you need to follow.
- I just logged in but I still cannot read the premium article. Some members are still being blocked from reading a premium article just after logging in from that article page. This appears to be a browser cache issue and will go away if you simply re-load the article after logging in.
I apologize for the quirks of the new system, but I am continuing to make customer service my very top priority.
