Player Bio

Became a Cardinal
Selected in the 16th round (496th overall) of the June 2006 First-Year Player Draft. Received a $325,000 signing bonus.

2010 Season
Ranked in the top 10 of Cardinals minor leaguers in doubles (T7th, 27), walks (5th, 60), stolen bases (5th, 17) and on base percentage (9th, .394) between Palm Beach and Springfield. On 8/13, set Springfield team record with 12 total bases and four extra-base hits. Went on DL with a fractured ulnae three days later, missing the remainder of the season.

2009 Season
Rebounded slightly from two bad offensive seasons, posting a line of .232/.313/.378 in the pitching-dominated Florida State League.

2008 Season
Tommy split the season between Quad Cities and Palm Beach and despite a Midwest League ‘Player of the Week’ award in May, Pham struggled to battle through a shoulder injury in July, hitting just .200 in August for the River Bandits. He finished the season with a .203 batting average with 18 home runs and 56 RBIs.

2007 Season
Switched positions from shortstop to the outfield. Batted just .188 between Batavia and Quad Cities.

2006 Season
Joined the Johnson City Cardinals in late June and promptly began his professional career with a four-hit game. He continued fast out of the blocks, completing June with a .345 average, an on-base percentage of .457 and an OPS of .940, before suffering a groin strain that landed him on the DL for a couple of weeks and slowed him down the rest of season.

Prep Notes
High school teammate of former Cardinals minor leaguer Niko Vasquez.
