Selected in the 7th round of the 2010 First-Year Player Draft. Signing announced June 15, 2010.

2011 Season
Good season masked by move from Quad Cities to Palm Beach. Logged .283/.384/.392 line in 105 games between the two stops.

2010 Season
Spent the entire season with Johnson City. Batted .286 with four home runs and 24 RBI in 220 at-bats. Ranked second in the Appalachian League in runs scored (49). Batted .467 (7-for-15) in the playoffs.

Collegiate highlights
Garcia led Hawaii in 2010 with a .358 batting average, adding 40 RBI, 45 runs, three homers, five triples, 13 doubles and five stolen bases. He showed good plate discipline with more walks, 31, than strikeouts, 30. Garcia earned first team all-WAC honors in 2010 after being named to the second team in each of his first two seasons at UH.
